More than 100 designers, I’m part of the Design System and A11Y team, I am responsible for interviewing feature designers and understanding their needs, giving them a better experience using the design system components and documentation, I create components and documentation aligned with the Feature designers and product needs. As part of my responsibilities I work near to the developer team to deliver all the design system creations.

Some achievements:

New 3.0 Slate design system (Components planning, Feature designers interviews and improving and supporting Multi-brand).
Los Angeles Workshop for planning 3.0 new Design System creation.
User centered component creation (Improve the way that the Feature designers use our component, properties guidelines and optimization)
Gradients had never been used as tokens, the creation and naming was planned in a way that was intuitive and easy to understand and they were applied to the different components of the Design System and Feature components ensuring A11Y compliance; from that point on I am the one who receives and solves all requirements of other teams.
Design System Documentation (Each component have its own documentation including: Summary, Configurations, Redlines, Token description, Behaviors, Text considerations, Motion (supported in the motion team) and A11Y).
Component adoption improved (metric based, all teams and designers uses our Design System components).

As part of the design process, we plan each component as one. Understanding all the feature designers and the end user needs.

Design Tokens

Trying to get a better experience with all tokens used on the platform, I created Color Gradient Tokens, giving designers the opportunity to use them in their feature components while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.

I achieved this by optimizing the way we named these tokens, where we started with the address, through opacity, length, color, and additional features.

Lot of downloads and excellent qualifications after the release, we start with the 3.0 Slate Design System creation, more plannings, team workshops, componente testing, supporting multi brand, EMEA support and more components we start again based on the latest Figma features, welcome variables.

Typography

I explored different types of fonts to improve the effect of line height throughout the product thinking about different languages such as Chinese and Arabic.
